Through each and every lesson she was always calm and patient, which made a huge difference to my confidence when learning to drive.
Amy explained everything very clearly, even physically showing me manoeuvres with a toy car!
Her lessons were always well-structured and tailored towards my specific learning journey and weaknesses, ensuring that the quality of my driving improved very quickly. As well as this, her lessons were also very relaxed and enjoyable, definitely making the learning much less stressful. My lessons with Amy always were a highlight of my week, even if I hadn’t driven well because I always left having learned a lot!

Toby took me on after I had explained to him I suffer PTSD and that I had had an experience with another instructor that had left me unable to face driving for 2 years and meant that my trust was very broken.
Toby was very patient with me and was able to calm me down very quickly when I struggled. On days I really couldn’t see myself driving he got me back behind the wheel and adapted all lessons to suit my need.
I have spent a very long time being told I won’t ever pass and I can’t do it and I was almost ready to believe them. 6 months of lessons and I have passed my test!! I cannot recommend Sheppey Driving enough! Especially if you struggle with anxiety. I can’t fault his techniques and didn’t think I would be able to actually enjoy driving but during lessons he had me cry laughing at points I’d usually break.

I joined Toby just as the pandemic was slowing down, I previously had a lot of lessons else where but was never encouraged to go in for test. After a few lessons sharpening up what I already knew and Toby teaching me the easiest ways possible to do manoeuvres he encouraged me to go in for test! Toby is so easy going and I wouldn’t of been able to pass without him! When you mess up he doesn’t put you down he encourages you to do it over and over again until your happy and I’m so glad I had him as my instructor and would recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive!
